PACC has held a business meeting with the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Assistance Center in Connecticut; Ms. Anne Evans, and Mr. James Cramer, the new Commercial Attaché at the U.S. Commercial Service Office at the American Consulate, on September 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at PACC office in Ramallah.
A number of PACC members, who are representatives of major companies in Palestine have attended the meeting. Each representative had shared with the meeting the impediments tackling daily business activities in Palestine.
The meeting was an introductory one for Mr. Cramer as this is his first visit to PACC; Mr. Cramer was eager to learn more about economic and political matters affecting day-to-day business in Palestine, and expressed his willingness to cooperate in order to solve the obstacles.
As for Ms. Evans, her goal at the meeting was to foster economic and investment relationships and to promote partnership and investment opportunities among the Palestinian and American business communities mainly in the State of Connecticut.
Ms. Evans and Mr. Cramer have expressed their commitment in offering the needed support to contribute in having a better prosperous Palestinian economy. They also promised to have continuous visits to various Palestinian companies at different sectors.
