The Palestinian American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Palestine) held an iftar dinner for its members and a number of Palestinian businesspeople on August 26, 2009. Mr. Howard Sumka, USAID Mission Director, and H.E. Dr. Ali Khashan, Minister of Justice, in addition to a number of USAID and U.S. Consulate employees also attended the event.

During the Event, AmCham Chairman Mr. Kareem Shehadeh presented Mr. Walles with a plaque and thanked him on behalf of AmCham and its members for his efforts towards Palestine. On his part, Mr. Walles thanked AmCham for this gesture and also thanked all the attendees for showing their appreciation.
