The Palestinian American Chamber of Commerce held its first annual members dinner with American Consul General Daniel Rubinstein on Monday, March 26 at the Movenpick Hotel in Ramallah. The American Chamber of Commerce, which recently held elections for a new board of directors, presented its plan for advocacy, member activities, and outreach to the American market. In his remarks, Consul General Rubinstein congratulated the Chamber on its plans for an active 2012 and encouraged members of the Palestinian business community to join to take advantage of its advocacy and links to American businesses. He stressed the United States’ commitment to work with American Chambers of Commerce around the world to strengthen trade and economic relations.
The dinner and remarks were the first in a series of regular events that the Palestinian American Chamber of Commerce plans to hold in 2012.
