The Palestinian American Chamber of Commerce conducted a business meeting over dinner on Monday May 19th, 2008 at the Ambassador Hotel in Jerusalem.

The meeting aimed at introducing the new PACC Board of Directors, presided by Mr. Kareem Shehadeh, and discussing the Palestinian business arena. Mr. John Sullivan, Deputy Secretary of Commerce, Chief of Staff Aimee Strudwick, Middle East Director Cherie Loustaunau, Desk Officer Tyler Hoffman, Commercial Counselor John Harris, Senior Commercial Officer Douglas Wallace, Commercial Specialist Assad Barsoum, Commercial Specialist Issa Noursi and the Export Promoter Suleiman Mashriqi together with PACC Board Members and Executive Director attended the meeting.

Mr. Shehadeh, and the Board members shared with the meeting the impediments facing the Palestinian economy, as well tackled the daily obstacles, one can confront in conducting any business activity in Palestine. 

Mr. Sullivan expressed his commitment in offering the needed support to contribute in having a better prosperous Palestinian economy.
